Mr. Bradley Gillenwater is Senior Director for Global Programs of the AIM-HI Accelerator Fund. In this capacity he helps guide the organization’s international collaborations, as well as strategic and tactical communications and industry positioning efforts. Mr. Gillenwater plays a leading role in newly-launched translational research initiatives, providing pathways to commercialization for promising early-stage oncology technologies developed by NFCR-funded scientists and peers.
Mr. Gillenwater also serves as Senior Director for Global Program Development of the National Foundation for Cancer Research. Prior to this, he had been Asia Regional Manager with the Maryland Department of Commerce’s Office of International Investment and Trade, including a period too as its Acting Director. There, he led the State government’s efforts in attracting foreign direct investment from and developing exports to Asia. Mr. Gillenwater has also studied at National Taiwan Normal University and worked for Taiwan’s largest English language training company, and held a clerkship with the Office of the United States Attorney and an internship with The Heritage Foundation’s Asian Studies Center.
Mr. Gillenwater earned his Master’s Degree in international political economy from the Patterson School of Diplomacy and International Commerce at the University of Kentucky and a Bachelor’s Degree in diplomacy and foreign affairs from Miami University of Ohio.
