Dr. Subedee currently serves as Academic Innovation Lead at the National Institutes of Health. He was Program Director at the National Cancer Institute Small Business Innovation Research(SBIR) Development Center (2016-2020), supporting and facilitating the development of innovative anti-cancer technologies (therapeutics, diagnostics, devices, digital health) with funding, mentorship and other entrepreneurial resources. Previously he was Presidential Management Fellow at the National Instituet of Health (2015-2017) and the Food and Drug Administration (2016).

Dr. Subedee co-founded Okhati, Inc. in 2011. There, he was responsible for developing the map of over 4,000 health facilities of Nepal in collaboration with Ministry of Health, Nepal. He also collaborated with engineering and public health schools in Nepal to develop an IT platform to improve healthcare access and information.

In 2008, Dr. Subedee received his Bachelor of Science in Genetics with Summa Cum Laude from Iowa State University. In 2015, he completed his Ph.D. in Biological and Biomedical Sciences and Human Biology and Translational Medicine with thesis research in the laboratory of Dr. Kornelia Polyak at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.
